So are swingers more politically conscious?

I wonder if we are.  I do find it very interesting to debate political issues with people in the lifestyle.  I had a very interesting debate this morning after the presidential debate last night. 

I can only hope that swingers take the time to know their candidates and make educated votes that also support our need for sexual freedoms.

 Without any explanation needed as to "why" someone would choose these get ups, let's discuss why these are popular. Swinging is a couples affair (no pun intended). Finding sexy costumes for couples is a difficult feat, unless you want something G Rated. Men seem to like this costume. It's simple, effective, and classy... not to mention the bunnies you could recruit to accompany you.

9.  Vampires
 A personal favorite, there is no denying the erotic aura of the vampire mythology. Sexually charged desire and surrender. The submission of the intended victim, languidly exposing their bare flesh for their captor's dark kiss? Wickedly pale skin, black clothing, nibbles on the neck…..rowr. I would expect a BDSM player to choose a costume like this, ready for the power exchange and role playing it could contribute to.

8.  Zee French Maid
 This classic is the epitome of sexy. A woman whose basic function is service. Scurrying around with her feather duster, exposing her garters when she bends over. The classic can never be wrong, and that is precisely why it has not worn out it's welcome on Halloween.

7.  Pimp and Ho
 This fun couples costume give both persons the opportunity to show off, making it a common selection. Most men generally choose rather flashy get ups, silk shirts, large hats, and the infamous "pimp stick." Ladies, your options lie at your local Frederick's of Hollywood-be as risqué as you want to be. Those of you with men who don't like to play dress up, the Pimp suggestion usually pans out. I don't know any man who doesn't want to look like Huggy Bear at least once in his life.

6.  Jungle Love
 This includes your cavemen and cavewomen, cats of all variety, and the guy in the gorilla suit that shows up every year. Mostly, this is a tribute to all that dress in an animal costume, purring and scratching their way around the crowd. Scantily clad in fur and heels, primal urges and animalistic reactions are sure to ensue. And the guy in the gorilla suit gets all the girls,I assure you.

5.  The Obligatory
 Novelty Costume
 This is the one person or couple at every party, that wears the lone humorous costume. I have seen the priest with the large erection, the plug and socket, brick and brick layer, inflatable boobs and/or butt, etc etc. Someone at your venue will show up with one of these on. I promise. The good thing about this type of costume is that you can rest assured the person donning this get up has a fabulous sense of humor and is probably a lot of fun!

4.  Devils and Angels
 Lust is sin number five on the infamous list of seven. It only makes sense that sexy demons would make an appearance at such a bacchanalian gathering. I have entertained many fantasies over the years of being prey to a being that is supreme in a supernatural sense. Perhaps it's my submissive side, or maybe it's just that evil can be so damn sexy! The angels on the other hand... that's just sexy irony.

3.  Schoolgirls
 Uniformed schoolgirls have always been the subject of many films and books, typically personified as an uninhibited, sexually precocious nymph, ready for action at any time. These costumes tend to bring out the wolf in men, making them a good choice for a lady looking to get lucky.

2.  Nurses and Doctors
 Something about the total surrender of your body to another person for their manipulation is hot. Isn't this what we do with our doctors and nurses? Another couple's choice, this can be a homemade costume to portray any kink you want. Your doctor can carry a witty name like Dr. Boner, Dr. Hugh G. Rection, or Dr. Phil Good. He can sport any number of toys in his satchel. Your nurse can be of the black gothic variety, the vinyl variety, even the Bettie Page variety. Come on, there is an entire following of people dedicated to medical erotica... why wouldn't this be popular?

1.  Police Officers and Inmates
 Once upon a Halloween, there was a couple who came to our party... she was a sexy police officer and he was her inmate. She had him secured with a waist chain attached to handcuffs. Attached to the handcuffs was a leash. At the bar, she placed a small white sign by their seats that said "jail." She strutted him all over the party, letting ladies have their way with him. When she wanted to dance or flirt herself, she walked him back to their seats or "jail", and tethered him to the chair. Totally ingenious and full of naughty possibilities, this costume is hands down the easiest to personalize. There will most likely be more than one at your event, ranging from deputies to border patrol, all carrying various accessories to enhance the appeal. No doubt, my favorite costume around.
